Arsenal brought an end to their three game winless run on Sunday when they beat Bournemouth 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners had drawn with Tottenham, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain in the run-in to the weekend’s Premier League encounter. but were able to prevail with the points this time around.
Bournemouth gifted Arsenal the lead just 12 minutes in when a poor pass from Steve Cook rolled to Alexis Sanchez, setting him up for an easy goal.
The lead did not last, though, as Callum Wilson pulled the visitors level after 23 minutes, converting a penalty awarded when Nacho Monreal collided with with him.
Theo Walcott had the Gunners 2-1 up just eight minutes into the second half when he nodded in a Nacho Monreal cross at the back post.
And the icing on the cake was added late on as Sanchez got his second of the game.
