APC In Tears As Court Orders The Arrest And Sack Of Two Buhari's Most Trusted Ministers

Emerging report from Presidential sources, have revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari, was in a state of dilemma, over the shocking ruling by the Federal High Court, in Abuja, granting permission for the arrest and subsequent sack of two of his most trusted Ministers.
The Ministers are: former Governor of Rivers State and Transportation Minister, Rotimi Amaechi; and his counterpart Minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonnaya Onu.
Amaechi and Onu are alleged to have attempted to influence court decisions, according to Supreme Court Justices Sylvester Ngwuta, and Inyang Oro.
According to the Justices, they were arrested, because they refused to decide court cases in favour of the two Ministers.
Ngwuta, alleged that Amaechi asked him to sway the Supreme Court judgments on the Ekiti, and Rivers States Gubernatorial elections, in favor of the All Progressives Congress, APC
The Justice further alleged, that Onu asked him to influence a Court of Appeal case, over the 2015 Ebonyi State Governorship elections, in favour of the Labour Party candidate.
A civil society group, known as the Kingdom Human Rights Foundation, had to file a lawsuit, seeking for the arrest, and sack of the two Ministers, over the corruption allegations.
The plaintiff is requesting that the court grants an order of mandamus, compelling the Department of State Service, DSS, and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to arrest, and prosecute the two Ministers.
“A plaintiff seeking an order of mandamus under the judicial review of administrative action/inaction procedure, is required to first seek and obtain the leave of court through an ex parte application, to properly commence the suit.”
The court had granted the plaintiff the request.
After granting the leave, the Judge directed that “the originating summons, affidavit in support, and the motion ex parte dated October 10, 2016, and any other process filed in this suit, shall be served on all the defendants.”
Justice Ahmed Mohammed, however, fixed December 15, for mention, and ordered that fresh hearing notices be served on all the defendants.
