BREAKING! Adama Barrow the Gambia’s President-Elect Talks Tough Ahead of His Inauguration, See What He Vows To Do Next…

Following the refusal of Gambia’s President, Yahaya Jammeh to step down, the president-elect, Adama Barrow has spoken ahead of the inauguration which is scheduled to hold on Thursday, January 19.
Barrow who is taking refuge in Senegal, in a tweet, said: ”We made history on the first day of December. Our future starts tomorrow. #Gambia”
This is coming after Gambia’s National Assembly has passed a resolution giving the incumbent president Yahya Jammeh a three-month tenure extension.
The incoming president of the Gambia had earlier said his inauguration would go ahead as planned this week in spite of attempts to thwart it by the incumbent leader.

However, he is expected to be sworn in at the national stadium in the Gambian capital, Banjul. It is remains unclear whether Jammeh will try other means to prevent this.
Adama Barrow of the opposition party won the December 1, 2016, presidential election but Jammeh, who initially conceded defeat, made a U-turn a week later, saying he would challenge the results.
Despite interventions by the African Union and ECOWAS, Jammeh insisted he would not hand over power to Barrow.
