Reports indicate that President Muhammadu Buhari, has written for the confirmation of the discredited Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, as the substantive Chairman of the anti-graft agency.
A Presidential source, on Monday, revealed that Magu’s name had been submitted to the office of Senate President Bukola Saraki.
It was learnt that Saraki would read the letter at the plenary on Tuesday, January 24.
However, some Political Activists have warned the Senate, “of the grave and imminent danger in going ahead with the plot to now accept and confirm Magu, after thoroughly indicting him based on credible security reports.”
