Following the killings of innocent Christians by Islamic extremists across the country, Senator Dino Melaye on his official Facebook page, said if both Christians and Muslims are serving the same God, then there's no point killing Christians in some part of the country. He therefore appealed to all Muslims in the country to embrace peace and practice what Islam stands for.
He said that "Islam is the religion of peace", and that both Christians and the Muslims are serving the same God.
His words, "Muslims can not be terrorists and terrorists can not be muslims. Islam is the religion of peace. We are brothers christians and muslims. We serve one and same God. So stop the killing.
