A four-year-old boy saved his mother's life when he found her unconscious on the kitchen floor - by dialling 999 and telling operators 'Mummy is asleep and won't get up.'
Jacob Onions managed to stay calm when he found mother Gemma, 33, out cold after she fell and hit her head on the floor at their home in Telford.
The brave youngster tried to wake his mum up before dialling 999 and asking for an ambulance
Despite having severe speech problems, Jacob told them: 'Mummy is on the floor. Mummy has hurt herself. She isn't talking.'
He then listened to instructions from emergency call-handler Kelly Morgan and responded to questions while he waited for help to arrive.
Audio of the call reveals how the hero youngster answered yes and no questions to Ms Morgan and shook Ms Onions until she came to.
In the incredible 3.30-minute recording, Jacob tells Ms Morgan where his mum is and taking instructions from her.
When Ms Onions awakes she says: 'I've fallen over, I've smacked my head. I can't move my legs.'
Paramedics attended the family's home in Arleston, Telford, and rushed Ms Onions to Princess Royal Hospital.
She is now undergoing tests for an unknown illness which causes seizures up to four times a week.
Yesterday Ms Onions said: 'Jacob is my little hero. I was so proud of him when I found out. He probably saved my life.
