“Doom is dangerous for human consumption and we wanted to protect our people. It’s our mandate as the Department of Health to protect people because he is contravening the Health Act. What is important to us is that he stops. We’re not concerned if he gets a fine or goes to prison,” Derrick Kganyago, spokesperson at the Limpopo Department of Health told the Drum.

Prophet, Lethebo Rabalango, of the Mount Zion General Assembly church who sprayed his members with Doom insecticide will appear before Polokwane High Court in Limpompo after an urgent interdict against him by Provincial Department of Health to stop him from continuing in his harmful practices.
