President Muhammadu Buhari has once again reportedly reassured Nigerians that there is no need to worry about his health as he is only resting in the UK and that, other things being equal, he will soon return to Nigeria.
President Buhari gave the assurance yesterday in a telephone conversation with his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina.
Adesina, on his twitter handle said;”Spoke with PMB a short while ago. Glad to hear his voice. Told me he was resting, but no cause for worry. Said I should greet my family.
“Thanks for holding out against mischief makers, PMB tells me during a phone call today. Said he would call again soon. Gave him best wishes.”
Recall that President Buhari embarked on vacation in the United Kingdom on January 19 and was scheduled to resume on February 10 but wrote to the Senate informing them of his decision to extend his vacation indefinitely.
President Buhari last week called the governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje and Katsina governor, Aminu Masari.
He had earlier called the Minister of Sport, Solomon Dalung to condole him over the death of his wife and also Adamu Fika.
The presidency has said recently his doctors have recommended further test for him and hinted that the president may not come back anytime soon.
The President then has assured Nigerians that there is no cause for alarm over his health and expressed appreciation to Nigerians for their prayers and concern.
