The Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has reportedly said though a Muslim and born a Muslim he loves Jesus in no small measure.
He made this disclosure on his Instagram to publicly declare his love for Christianity and Jesus Christ.
Sanusi, reports say, posted a picture of an inscription that says: “I am a Muslim and I love JESUS. Peace Be Upon Him.”
Declaring his love further to the founder of the Christian faith, the Kano Monarch reportedly captioned: “Many people are unaware of the fact that one cannot be a Muslim without loving Jesus (Peace be upon him) known in Arabic as (Alayhis Salam).”
The Kano Monarch has continued to win the hearts of many Nigerians by his recent stance on many national issues so much so that many Nigerians see him as a symbol of unity and peaceful co-existence in a country that has been greatly divided along religious lines since the inception of the APC-led Federal Government.
